Stallion (August 1984)

Stallion is a popular name in the realm of homoeroticism, with the title gracing the pages of a short-lived, black-and-white magazine released in Australia between 1973 and 1974 and a side publication of Torso in the late 1980s and early 1990s that offered, as it claimed, a "new breed of rugged men." This particular Stallion publication, which ran from 1982 to 1993, presented elements that were indiscernible from those of its peers: photos of models from studios like Catalina and Holt and interviews with performers such as Matthew Newman and Lee Ryder. The August 1984 issue, for instance, showcases this unexceptional nature, with spreads titled "Hard Times," "Photo Bug," and "Sneak Thief" accompanied by random illustrations by Blade and Fiasco.
