Advocate Men (January 1986), Part One

Advocate Men opened 1986 on a strong note, with Colt Studio's Jeff York gracing both the cover and the centerfold. A favored model within the homoerotic community, York appeared in countless publications, including the November 1981 issue of Mandate and the 1985 issue of Colt Men. In this January 1986 issue of Advocate Men, which has been broken into two parts, York is joined in the first half by model Jason Steele, an advertisement for HIS Video's Hot Shots, a showcase of artist Tom, and the short stories "Moving Violations" (about a tenant's repeated liaisons with the apartment complex's maintenance man) and "Street Punk" (about an artist's complicated relationship with a brute thug that results in a pleasant surprise).
