Playguy (February 1982)

Born on September 5, 1958, in Fresno, California, Russell Wallace entered the industry of homoeroticism in his mid-twenties, where he changed his name to Pierce Daniels and, for nearly a decade, starred in several films - including Therapy (1984) - and graced the pages of multiple magazines - the September 1985 issue of Torso among them - until his death on July 8, 1995. The February 1982 issue of Playguy features Wallace at the very start of his career and accompanies the model's photos with spreads titled "And Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep," "Daydreams," "Lunch Meat," and "Wildlife," the short story "Mentor" (about two cousins who engage in a two-week romance while their parents are on vacation), and a reader-submitted fantasy about a man's lust for his future brother-in-law.
